I don't think access really comes down to just a slot in a schedule. It really comes down to the time of the day that a patient is able to be seen. It's removing those barriers for transportation that they can be where they're most comfortable, where they have the resources to be able to be seen.

I finally came to realize that actually writing was sort of my happy place. I need it. So that's part of that human spirit part, I think, creativity in all its different ways. However, it manifests for different people. I really think it feeds your soul and I have needed that at various points like anybody else.

I really trust myself as an artist. It's getting looser and more open and gestural and lyrical and kind of letting things float, letting drawing integrate with painting on top and below. So it has a pulse that I find very stimulating, has a lot of kinetic energy, and vitality.
