Maine is such an amazing place with incredible resources. Our natural environment is part of Maine's economy. It powers our communities, and I like to think that Maine has a unique ecological ethic and culture that you don't find other places around the country.

I think critique is the most important part of art. It's never from a place of malice or contempt. It's always from a place of understanding.

Your only job on stage is to make everyone else look good, full stop. What that means is when you go on stage, if there's five of you and I'm thinking about myself and you're thinking about yourself and everyone else is thinking about themselves, then you only have one person concerned about you on stage during the scene, which is not great. But if I go on stage and I'm only thinking about the other four people and they're all thinking about the other four people, then I've got four people worried about me.
