Thoughtful conversations with the people of Maine

I really try to have my work come out of a very centered, very quiet place. If I can somehow add to the beauty that's in the world, starting out with nothing, starting out with this wooden panel, and then being able to put my layers and do my carving, and if the end result of that is a bit more calm, a bit more beauty out in the world, then that means a lot.

It's not just about housing, it's housing. Plus we want to support people in their life, not just in their home.

We can't continue to pollute at the level that we are and survive basically. We can't keep putting toxic chemicals, plastics into the earth, into the land, into the air and water. We can't keep emitting greenhouse gases forever.
