Thoughtful conversations with the people of Maine

There is that sense of trying to cram all of that into a painting. What fragrances were in the air and what was the wind doing and what was the temperature? These are not necessarily visual elements, but yet they can become those in a painting.

I've been sober, it'll be 28 years in September of this year. And reality, as far as I can tell, has not changed. One wit, it's exactly the same as it always was, but I sleep better.

My message isn't everyone be your authentic self all the time, unapologetically, unmask, bring your full self to work. I don't think we're at that place yet where that's safe for all people.
