I think the integration of both, we need them both. They're both effective and I'm grateful for my experiences in the emergency medicine and in primary care and having that experience of the more traditional medications or approach and then combined with this is so wonderful.

I think that the eastern cultures are so beautiful to me, and I have been, they've resonated for me for a long time, but of course they're not my cultures. So it's just always been this idea of trying to combine eastern and western images since I obviously grew up in the West.

I named it that because it's a part of a series of work that I fooled around. I played with funny color schemes that perhaps I would not get to use otherwise. It's almost as if I thought, oh, I always wanted to put a sort of a poison green next to a lilac.
