Each week, host Dr. Lisa Belisle sits down with the people who shape the state: entrepreneurs and educators, physicians and artists, community builders and keepers of place. She brings a clinician's ear and two decades in radio and writing to every conversation.

There's no way that you can digest years of work in a minute. You can get the gist of it, but not the full body or the breadth of it. The weight of it.
When I see some of these folks that go through so many hard things to rebuild their life, and sometimes it takes years and years of hard work and dedication and sacrifice to be in recovery for the long term, and they don't even want to tell anyone. And I'm like, you are an all star. I want to get a banner and celebrate their efforts, and even after all that they've been through, they still feel like they have to be in hiding.
It's more about the feeling of my art, rather than the reality of it. You get a sense of the light and place, and depending on where you've grown up or traveled, then you evoke a memory.
