I have this sense of feeling like, oh, I love Brunswick for many reasons, and that's where we're raising our family and we're attached there. But there's a sense that I have now being there that I'm disconnected from some that are pretty important to me, like the natural world.
The thing that has sort of been a thread through all of my choices career wise and family wise is service, as corny as that might sound, but I feel like I come from a place of privilege and I feel very lucky to be able to access education and excel at it. And so I really do feel like I want to use that to help others.
You have to have fun doing what you're doing, because if you're not having fun doing it, you're going to not do it long and you're not going to do well at it.
